Solutions · Equine practice
Half a ton of patient. A truck for a clinic. No colleague for miles.
Ambulatory equine work means the patient doesn't come to you, the medicine happens at a yard, in a wash bay, in whatever light the barn has. Sedation and field anesthesia on a 500 kg patient leave little margin, and the second opinion is usually a phone call away at best. viggoVet was built all-species from the start and designed for life on the road: it runs on the phone already in your truck, on any device with a connection.
From $49 per clinic per month; AI Anesthesia Assist is on Elite, $79 with 20 users, and AI Remote Booking is a $39 add-on. Works alongside whatever your practice already runs.

Advisory support where the anesthetic margins are thinnest.
Standing sedation at a yard. A field castration. A clinic dental under heavy sedation. Equine anesthesia carries real risk, and you usually carry it alone. With AI Anesthesia Assist, each vitals entry you make, with whatever you can measure at the yard, is read against the patient's full history, and a stability or risk indication with a guideline-based comment comes back in 10 to 30 seconds, patient-specific considerations, surfaced for your review while you can still act on them. It's a second perspective, not a second vet: it advises, you decide, every time.
The anesthesia or sedation record, aftercare, and owner notes draft as you work, so the paperwork is largely done before you've closed the truck door. Vitals are entered manually today; we'd rather say so plainly.

viggoVet's AI is clinical decision-support only. It assists; it does not decide. The licensed veterinarian holds full clinical responsibility. It is not a medical device, monitor, or alarm.

The day between yards, in order.
A lameness workup at one yard, vaccinations at a livery an hour out, a dental round across three stables and a colic call that lands in the middle of it. AI Remote Booking orders the visits into a real route by travel distance and drive time, shows the whole day on one map with the total driving time, and stacks multi-day rounds day by day. Set your base and how far you will travel; owners and yards book at their own address through your link, and one tap opens each stop in Google Maps.

A formulary where equine isn't the footnote.
Most drug references treat the horse as an afterthought. The AI Drug Formulary, coming soon, is built across 80+ species, equine included as a first-class citizen, with 1,300+ medications, 8,000+ interactions, and 11,000+ dosages. Weight-based sedation and analgesia dosing for a 500 kg patient, interaction and contraindication checks against what the horse is already on, each answer carrying its citations.
AI Drug Formulary
Free at launch: weight-based dosing for a 500 kg patient, checked against what the horse is already on.
VetEvince
Free at launch, the colic that might be surgical, the lameness that won't localize, the neonatal foal at 4am: ranked differentials and treatment options cited to published equine literature, on the device in your pocket.
Free in every plan when it launches, under our fair-usage policy, sized for busy, back-to-back daily practice.
Built for the truck. Honest about the signal.
viggoVet runs in the browser on any device with a connection, no extra hardware between yards, nothing to install at each stop. Today it needs a connection, and remote yards have dead spots, so we say so plainly; offline mode is coming soon, to work the visit at the yard and sync when you're back in range. What we've built is designed for life on the road, fast on a phone, light on data, and ready the moment you're back in coverage, so the dose check at the gate and the notes before you drive away actually happen.
It also works alongside whatever scheduling or billing your practice already runs, nothing to migrate to get started. If you ever want the whole practice on the full viggoVet platform, that choice stays yours.

Every tool on this page is one module of viggoVet, the open veterinary platform. The platform completes any practice software with the clinical AI it's missing, hosts the tools other veterinary companies build on it through its marketplace, and can run a whole practice end to end for clinics that choose it. Common questions
Does viggoVet actually cover equine medicine, or is it a small-animal tool?
viggoVet is all-species by design, built across 80+ species, equine included from the start. AI Anesthesia Assist and AI Remote Booking work for equine practice today, and the coming formulary treats the horse as a primary patient, not an edge case. AI Dental Chart covers dogs and cats for now.
Can I use AI Anesthesia Assist in the field?
Yes, it runs on any device with a connection, so it works yard-side for standing sedation and field procedures. It's advisory decision-support: you enter vitals manually, and it returns a stability or risk indication with a guideline-based comment for your review. You remain the anesthetist; it never acts on its own.
Does it work offline at remote yards?
Not yet: today it needs a connection, and we'd rather tell you that than let you find out at a hilltop stable. Offline mode is coming soon, so you can work the visit at the yard and it syncs when you're back in range. Until then it's built for life on the road: quick on a phone and ready the moment you have signal.
What does it cost a small ambulatory practice?
From $49 per clinic per month with 5 users; AI Anesthesia Assist is on Elite at $79 with 20 users, and AI Remote Booking is a $39 add-on. Every plan starts with a free trial, cancel anytime during it at no charge.
When can I get the drug formulary?
It is coming soon and will be free in every plan, under our fair-usage policy. Waitlist members are first in; joining takes 20 seconds.
The next call is forty minutes out. Backup shouldn't be.
