ScribbleVet is an AI scribe that turns the conversation in the exam room into clinical notes. Instinct Science acquired it on 16 January 2026. Since 13 February 2026, Plumb's Veterinary Drugs has been built into ScribbleVet at no additional cost, with drug classes, dosages, interactions and adverse effects one panel away.
On 10 September 2026 Instinct announced Attending, a clinical AI assistant drawing on Plumb's, Standards of Care and Clinician's Brief, planned as a standalone product and inside Instinct EMR and ScribbleVet. It is in an invitation-only research preview.

Do we have to use Instinct EMR to keep ScribbleVet? Instinct said ScribbleVet customers would keep using it as before after the acquisition. viggoVet does not require any particular practice software either.
Why add viggoVet if ScribbleVet already writes notes? The note is one part of the visit. viggoVet covers booking, check-in, records, reminders and client chat, plus clinical AI for anesthesia, dental and mobile work.
Is AI Anesthesia Assist a monitor? No. It is advisory clinical decision-support, not a medical device, monitor or alarm. The veterinarian decides.
