Alongside your software
VetRec with viggoVet
VetRec answers the phone and writes the note. viggoVet works in the surgery, the dental suite and on the road, alongside the software you run.
Key takeaways
- VetRec started as an AI scribe and, in July 2026, launched an AI Receptionist that answers calls 24/7, books appointments and routes urgent cases.
- The front desk and the note are covered. viggoVet covers the clinical rooms in between: the surgery, the dental suite, and the road.
- House calls booked by phone still need a route. That is AI Remote Booking.
What is VetRec, and what is it good at?
VetRec's AI scribe generates medical records in real time, including SOAP notes, reports, dental charts, discharge instructions and phone call summaries. On 15 July 2026 VetRec launched AI Receptionist, which answers a clinic's calls around the clock, books appointments, captures messages and routes urgent cases to staff, and logs calls, bookings and summaries in the practice's management system.
Missed calls are lost appointments, and an AI that answers at 2am without adding staff is a practical answer to a real problem.
What viggoVet adds alongside it
- The surgery: AI Anesthesia Assist, an advisory stability or risk read at every vitals entry, checked against the whole patient. Vitals are entered manually today.
- The dental suite: AI Dental Chart, from tooth-by-tooth charting to a prognosis and the owner letter that explains treatment and the cost of waiting.
- The road: AI Remote Booking arranges each mobile day as a route, keeps bookings inside each vet's radius, and imports records uploaded at booking as a patient profile.
- The patient day: the Status Board from check-in to check-out, patient and client records with an AI history summary, client chat, tasks, reminders, and lab results from IDEXX, Zoetis and Woodley.
