Legal Entities

Last updated June 5, 2026

This document is the single, authoritative record of the legal entities that together design, operate, and provide the viggoVet platform and related websites, applications, software, APIs, SDKs, and modules (together, the “viggoVet Group”, “viggoVet”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

It is referenced by, and forms part of, our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Cookie Policy, and Data Processing Addendum (DPA). Where any of those documents refers to “the contracting entity”, “the data controller”, or “the relevant viggoVet entity”, the entity is determined by reference to this document.

1. The viggoVet Group Entities

The following entities make up the viggoVet Group. Each is a separate legal person. The entity that contracts with you and that is responsible for your data is determined by your location, as set out in Section 2.

Legal entity

Jurisdiction & form

2. Which entity is responsible for you

Unless a specific agreement with you states otherwise, the viggoVet entity that acts as your contracting party and as the controller of personal data we hold about you is determined by the country in which you are located when you use our services:

Your location

Responsible viggoVet entity (controller / contracting party)

Switzerland

Viggo Software GmbH (Zug, Switzerland)

United States and the rest of the Americas

viggoVet, Inc. (Delaware, USA)

United Arab Emirates and the MENA region

ViggoVET LLC-FZE (UAE)

European Economic Area (EEA/EU), United Kingdom, and all other countries not listed above

Where you are a business customer (for example a veterinary practice or clinic) and we process data on your behalf as a processor, the same entity acts as your processor under the DPA, and your practice remains the controller of that data.

3. Group cooperation and intra-group transfers

The entities share common infrastructure, standards, and support functions so that the platform can be operated and supported consistently worldwide. Personal data may be transferred between Group entities only where lawful and necessary, and is protected by intra-group data transfer agreements incorporating Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards. Data residency commitments described in the Privacy Policy continue to apply to any such transfer.

4. How to contact us

You may contact any Group entity using the details below. If you do not specify an entity, your request will be routed to the entity responsible for your region under Section 2.

5. Changes to this document

As our entities, names, or registrations change, we will update this single document and the change will automatically flow through to every legal document that links to it. We will record the effective date of each version at the top of this document.

This document is provided for transparency and does not by itself create any contractual obligation beyond those set out in the agreements that reference it.
