About the Role
We’re building a modern veterinary podcast and YouTube channel focused on long-form conversations, interviews, and educational episodes for vets, nurses, techs, and the wider animal-health community. We’re looking for a video content creator who understands the profession from the inside and knows how to turn ideas into engaging, watchable stories.
What you’ll do
You’ll plan and produce our episodes from start to finish. That includes shaping topics, writing scripts, inviting guests, and recording interviews. You’ll take responsibility for the full content flow: preparation and filming. The role blends creativity, veterinary knowlege, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan podcast and YouTube episodes based on trending and meaningful topics in veterinary medicine
- Research and outline scripts, talking points, and interview structures
- Invite and coordinate guests (vets, RVNs, RVTs, specialists, industry experts)
- Record interviews and long-form video content to a professional standard
- Oversee editing (either doing it yourself or coordinating with an editor)
- Ensure consistent branding and storytelling across episodes
- Work with the team to schedule releases and maintain a publishing calendar
- Keep an eye on analytics and audience feedback to improve future content
Requirements
- (Mandatory) Comfortable on camera and naturally charismatic
- (Mandatory) Strong communication and interviewing skills
- (Mandatory) Able to structure stories and simplify complex veterinary topics
- (Optional) Solid understanding of YouTube, podcast formats, and audience engagement
- (Optional) Experience with cameras, lighting, audio, and basic editing tools
- Reliable time management and the ability to run the production workflow independently
- Creative mindset with a genuine interest in veterinary education and media
